Bethany Wines

Bethany Wines is positioned along the gentle contours of the Barossa Foothills between the Barossa and Eden Valleys.

The Schrapel family first planted vines in 1852 soon after they arrived from Silesia aboard the ‘George Washington’. More than a century later fifth generation descendants, brothers Geoff and Robert Schrapel, established Bethany Wines.

Today, Bethany Wines is run by fifth and sixth generations of the Schrapel Family. The vines’ life cycle continues in much the same way as it always has – with minimal intervention, from vine to glass, to produce the best possible wines that are a true reflection of their natural terroir.

Bethany’s icon wine ‘GR Reserve Shiraz’ is awarded Barossa Trust Mark, which represents best products and services in the Barossa.

We can offer a wide range of wines made only from our family-own and neighbouring vineyards in the Barossa at various prices. Currently we do not have an exclusive business partner in China while we are having business with a few partners on a case-by-case basis.
